Local Emergency Management Coordinator

In accordance with Title 35, every Pennsylvania municipality must have a local Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) and up-to-date Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
The Emergency Management Coordinator:
- Helps the community to achieve proper levels of preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation for emergencies or disasters that might affect the municipality.
- Keeps elected officials informed and involved with these preparations.
- Coordinates with local first responders and Adams County Emergency Services.
- Receives extensive training and utilizes resources available at county and state levels and within the community to fulfill these responsibilities.
Local First Responders include Borough Police Chief Terry Seitz and Northeast Adams Fire & EMS, Adams County Company 32
